Hello, World!

A collection of some of the beautiful places I've traveled to since 2010.

Puerto Galera, Philippines

February 2010

Puerto Galera is 2-3 hours away from Manila so this is a place Metro Manila dwellers frequently go to. Puerto Galera has dozens of dive sites suitable for all levels of scuba diving experience.

Zambales, Philippines

May 2010

Only a few hours away by car from Manila, this was my second trip to Zambales but my first time in Potipot Island. The water is pristine and the sand is almost as fine as Boracay. I went with my friends for a long weekend trip. I tried surfing for the first time in San Narciso, Zambales as well which turned to be so much fun even for beginners like me.

Cebu City, Philippines

November 2011

Working as a flight attendant, this was one of the places I frequently stayed at and easily one of my favorites. The food is amazing, the cost of living is cheaper than in Manila, highly urbanized yet numerous white sand beaches and falls are just a short drive away.

Seoul, South Korea

December 2011

The first regional/out-of-the-country flight working as a flight attendant was to this vibrant city. Known for many things but the cafes and street food are probably what stood out to me the most.

Boracay, Philippines

February 2013

The most popular beach in the Philippines, and where most outgoing people would probably really enjoy. The food is amazing and lots of activities to do. I went with friends for a long weekend but we were able to squeeze in a lot of food in our bellies activities such as banana boat riding, beach paragliding, and kayaking.

Makati, Philippines

The central business district of the Philippines. I've been here uncountable times but didn't work in until 2014. One of the foodie places in Metro Manila, several restaurants open every week here and some of the top Michelin star restaurants in the PH are found here.

Bonifacio Global City, Philippines

Right next to Makati, and is as vibrant, diverse, and busy as Makati. Just like the former, you'll find just about any cuisine here, from Japanese to French and even Balkan food. BGC and Makati are where you'd want to be for NYE, for the fireworks display alone.

Bangkok, Thailand

November 2015

Restaurant/food crawling is probably the best way to enjoy Bangkok. The temples are interesting as well but they tend to get crowded, so the food was definitely the highlight of our trip here. It's also amazing how we purchased flight tickets to Phuket on the same day at the airport yet they were very reasonably priced and the service was great.

Phuket, Thailand

November 2015, November 2016

Originally wanting to go to Chiang Mai, this was my husband and I's second choice but it turned out to be a great choice, we went back a year after. Nai Harn beach in the south, next to Rawaii is probably the best spot and most family/couple-friendly beach. Just like the locals, we drove around in scooters here which was a lot of fun.

Bohol, Philippines

March 2016

Some of the most popular tourist spots/beaches in the Philippines are in Bohol. The famous chocolate hills, the tarsier - a mammal that can get a heart attack if startled, Panglao beach, hot chocolate are some of the things it is known for.

Oslob, Cebu, Philippines

April 2016

Due to its proximity to Bohol, we were able to go to Cebu via an hour-long boat trip. We originally wanted to go to the famous Kawasan falls and experience canyoneering, but due to the dry weather we only got to do whale shark (butanding) watching, which already made the trip very memorable.

Tagaytay City, Philippines

An hour away from home, this is a place we frequented to during family trips and weekend trips with friends. There are countless good restaurants, activities to do, and sights to see. This is also where my husband and I exchanged our vows. Famous for the cooler climate due to higher altitudes and Taal - an island within an island within an island - and its volcano, which recently made news due to the explosive eruption.

Chicago, USA

My brother and his family live here but that's not the only reason I like going to Chicago. There's so many things to do for every type of exploration and I like the diversity.

Quebec, Canada

October 2018

I think charming and dreamy are the best words to describe Quebec. We went in the fall but learned summer is also a really good time to go as well as winter for the very Christmas-y feel. Cafes, poutine, chocolate, cheese, pastries, and craft beer everywhere. I would love to go back!

San Juan, Puerto Rico

March 2019

San Juan's coffee, bread, and the art scene such as graffitis, murals, and colorful houses are great but their history stood out the most to me. The windy beach was very popular among kite surfers, and there are 3(!, there are only 5 in the world) bioluminescent bays in Puerto Rico alone.
